When selecting a hearse that reflects your business there are many variables to consider - year, colour, style and budget. Perhaps you want a matching fleet, or you are looking for a classic hearse to make a statement. Allow us to locate vehicles to meet your requirements.
BODY STYLE
There are essentially three distinct hearse body styles:
Landau - with landau irons on the rear quarters in place of rear side windows
Limousine - with windows the length of the hearse to fully display the casket and flowers
Oval window - a modern variation somewhere between the landau and limousine styles
There are also Flower Cars and SUV conversions available, but are not shown here as they are not traditionally seen in New Zealand. If you are interested in these vehicles, please enquire.

MODEL YEAR
Hearses are primarily built on Cadillac chassis, however Lincoln, Buick, Chevrolet and others are also utilised. The list below groups Cadillac by year to demonstrate the model changes and an indication of price range in NZD to guide your budget
Cadillac 1993-94 The last of the full size rear-wheel-drive Cadillacs $20,000 - $30,000
Cadillac 1995-99 New front-wheel-drive chassis $25,000 - $35,000
Cadillac 2000-05 All new body style $30,000 - $45,000
Cadillac 2006-12 Facelifted to create a modern, elegant appearance $45,000 - $100,000

COLOUR
The prevalent colour options are black, white, grey, and silver, however; dark blue, light blue, dark green, maroon and gold are often available. The hearses may come with contrasting or complementary vinyl roof colours

INTERIOR
The interior of these coaches varies according to manufacturer and model. Interiors may be velour, vinyl or brocade fabric (on older vehicles), and the casket deck may be carpet, faux woodgrain or marbled formica. Some coaches have extending casket tables; others do not. Most of these coaches will have drapes in the casket compartment, however; these are easily removed if unwanted.
